Create has gone through many changes over the course of its development, and as such several features no longer exist that were present in previous versions of the mod. Since many tutorials relying on these features exist, these are documented below, along with their current equivalents if any exist.
* **Transposers.** Direct inventory-to-inventory connections can be done vertically and diagonally with hoppers and [chutes](Chute). Strictly horizontal inventory-to-inventory connections require [Mechanical Belts](Mechanical-Belt).
* **Extractors.** [Chutes](Chute) can drop items from inventories into the world, as can droppers and dispensers on contraptions. [Funnels](Funnel) and hoppers can extract items from inventories onto belts and depots.
* **Gilded Quartz Tools.** The [[Extendo Grip]] can be used to gain extra reach with any tool.
* **Blazing Tools.** No equivalent is currently present.
* **Shadow Steel Tools.** No equivalent is currently present.
* **Dyed belts.** No equivalent is currently present.
