The **Portable Storage Interface** (PSI) is an advanced mechanical component that functions in conjunction with a stationary [[Transposer]] to move items onto or off of [[Moving Contraptions]] on [Mechanical Pistons](Mechanical-Piston), [Minecarts](Minecart), [Rope Pulleys](Rope-Pulley), [Mechanical Bearings](Mechanical-Bearing), and [Clockwork Bearings](Clockwork-Bearing).
## Usage
### Loading and unloading
A Portable Storage Interface functions only when on a moving structure, and can only interact with stationary transposers. When the conveyor end of the PSI comes into contact with either end of a stationary transposer, the contraption the PSI is on will stall in place for as long as there are items to move through the transposer. The direction of the transposer determines whether items will be loaded or unloaded, and while a [[filter]] cannot be placed on a PSI, one can be placed on the transposer, and will function normally.
