Set up guides

  • Install GameMaker: Studio IDE (runtime 2023.6.0.139)

  • Download and install extensions: (Some are optional, however an adjustment in code is required)

    • YellowAfterLife File dropper (Free) itch
    • Samuel Venable xProcess, Border toggler, FileDropper (Free) itch
    • Official Steamworks extension (Free) GM marketplace
    • YellowAfterLife GameFrame ($20) itch
      • Optionally, remove all gameframe_* reference and disable borderless mode.
    • YellowAfterLife Apollo (Optional, $15) itch
    • Mytino Fluid Dynamics - GM Studio 2 (Optional, $15) GM marketplace'
  • If running on Mac, delete PixelComposer\datafiles\data\themes\default folder (keep the zip file) before running.

  • To use native exception handler (for more information) goto debug (crtl+T > debug) and comment out setException().
